Cancer has had a long career almost definitely for at least millions of years. Throughout its life it has gained worldwide popularity especially after having been associated with countless celebrities.
Cancer is a blanket term for the condition in which cells in a body replicate uncontrollably. When malignant, the cells can spread sufficiently to damage internal organs to the point of fatality.
It occurs naturally but also can happen as a result of external influences such as diet and substance abuse. Cancer even occurs in plants, but because they do not have circulatory systems, a cancerous growth is usually restricted to a specific area.
It has recently been intimately linked with entertainers like Farrah Fawcett and Patrick Swayze.
